Tuesday

WALT: Finding out how many triangles you need to make a certain shape.

S.C Identify the sizes and shape of triangles and also make prediction of how many triangles will fir inside a certain shape.

Today I had a task where I needed to find out how many triangles do I need to use to make a certain shape. To do this I draw triangles on the shape itself to find out how many triangles I needed.

REFLECTION:

The task was pretty easy and fun to do.

There was only one certain shape that I couldn't figure out how may triangles it needed(cube).

Wednesday

WALT:understand geometry terms involving directions

S.C - Identify left and right

- Identify clockwise and anticlockwise

-Identify North, West, South and East

-Identify 1⁄4 turn, 1⁄2 turn & 3⁄4 turn

This task was a little hard and frustrating for me, because I din't know few things.

REFLECTION:

Even thought the task was a little hard for me I still enjoyed doing it, because I learnt new things.

I had to find out what does 1/4 turn, 1/2 turn and 3/4 turn were like.

Thursday

WALT: Identify parallel and perpendicular

S.C - Parallel lines are the same distance apart

-Perpendicular lines cross each other at right angles

Today's task was when we were writing down where were perpendicular line and parallel lines (which was easy). Also we had to explain objects that had perpendicular lines or parallel lines.

REFLECTION:

This task was a little confusing and frustrating, because there were few words that I didn't understand so it made the task harder for me.
